About Us
Allen is a trained diamond setter and master jeweller with over 44 years experience. He served his apprenticeship in Hatton Garden, London with his father, Henry and shared a workshop with him for several years in the Cowdray Centre, Colchester and The Stream, Layer de la Haye. He specialises in designing, making and repairing all types of jewellery.
Choose from a selection of ring designs made to measure for you or alternatively have your own design turned into a high quality individual piece of jewellery by choosing your preferred metal and selecting your diamonds or any other stones that take your fancy. Allen has a wealth of experience to advise you.
Since opening at the Jewellery Hut 12 years ago the business has gone from strength to strength. Since joining the business and embarking on a 9 year apprenticeship Pauline has gained a lot of experience in the design, hand making and repair of jewellery. Pauline also runs the shop and undertakes a re-stringing service.
Together we have built a strong, loyal following with customers often travelling from far and wide.
All work is fully insured and carried out on the premises by Allen and Pauline.

Wedding Ring Specialists
We specialise in creating hand made wedding rings in all golds, silver and platinum. Wedding rings can be created to suit all styles and budgets. We have a large selection of ready made samples to view and try on, as well as lots of images and brochures to browse so that your ideal design can be created.
We can create cut out wedding rings to fit around an existing engagement ring, and diamond set wedding rings are a particular speciality.
We offer a personalised service and will always give your wedding rings a free polish up when you are in the area to keep them looking their best.
